Asset Management

Consider these situations commonly observed in hospitals: 1) What is common between infusion pumps and taxi cabs? There are hundreds in circulation, but you can never find one when you need one. 2) With large number of patients being handled everyday in hospitals, how do you keep a tab on your patients? As for example, if a patient is trying to access a restricted area, how can you find about it? There is always a crowd of things and people going around in a hospital that needs to be tracked. O ne of the biggest challenges in asset-intensive industries is how to effectively manage all their different types of asset. These organizations must deal with  physical assets that require ongoing maintenance and repair. Managing human resources—the most valuable asset of all—comes with its own special set of challenges Coming back to the answer t...

Private Cloud: Patient Information Center

Suppose one day on a fine morning, you have to visit a doctor for a recurrent problem. You are waiting in queue and suddenly you realize that you did not bring the last prescription that was ordered for you by the doctor. What do you do now? One way is that you go back home and then get it ( of course, if you are successful in finding it!!) and then come back to the clinic, but by doing this you will waste precious time and possibly, you might again have to make a queue. Or you walk into the doctor’s chamber and tell him that you are not carrying your prescription with you and the doctor just shrugs it off and accesses the prescription for you from the cloud. So which option do you think is better? Second, right? And this is where the “cloud” comes in . With Private Cloud in Healthcare, it opens up the prospect of patients’ digitized health information—medical histories, scanned images, blood types, allergies etc. - accessible via secure authentication to people authorized by the pa...

Modernizing Medical Requisition

After a doctor places a particular order, the patients will be required to undergo the required tests. The requisitions, henceforth mapped to a particular test, will have all the patient information automatically populated stating all the pre-requisites if required, such as fasting. There are two ways by which these tests can be done: in-house or out-house. In case of in-house tests, the results, any time on day or night, can be uploaded on a centralized server whereby the doctor will be notified as soon as the results are uploaded via SMS or Email, and the patients can be contacted and the relevant treatment process can be immediately started. In case, the tests are required to be performed outside a clinic’s premises, the results from a particular laboratory can be accessed by the doctor in clinic with the help of our cloud-based information system. This ensures a hassle-free and quick access to the examination reports as well as effective time management. Shortening the waiting tim...
